Greeting Notes is an Android app that keeps the people you send holiday and seasonal cards to, grouped by household. Export the list as CSV and take it to the card or label software you use, or to your next phone.

Export your list as CSV (UTF-8 with BOM, or Shift_JIS) and open it in label software or a spreadsheet.

Export your notes to a file and import them on your new phone. Android backup is supported too.
No sign-up, stored on your device
There is no account. Your list is stored on your device and is not sent to our servers.
By household, year after year.
Households and joint names
Keep a family name and its members as one entry, with a title for each person. Leave out members who have passed away.
Sent, received, in mourning
Record each year whether you sent a card, received one, or the household is in mourning.
Address checked
Mark the households whose address you have checked.
Importing from your contacts is optional. The app reads your contacts only when you allow it, and never changes them.

Is it free?
Yes. The app shows ads.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up or login.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. The names and addresses on your list are not sent to our servers.
What happens when I change phones?
Export your notes to a file and import them on the new phone. You can also use Android backup.
Does it need access to my contacts?
No. Contacts access is used only when you import people from your contacts. Without it, you can type entries in yourself.
Can I move my list to card software?
Yes, export it as CSV. Match the columns in the software you import it into.
When will it be available?
